Marketing Designer

With over 415 million assets, how do you sell this product to SMBs, Designers, and Enterprises? With the range of audience in mind, many of the projects I participated in are segment based as well as brand specific. Getty Images is one of the three brands I work with on a daily basis. The other two consist of iStock and newly-acquired Unsplash. Each brand had its own set of guidelines, and with that came three style guides to abide by. Through emails, sales sheet, paid ads, and many other deliverables, I showcase the true breadth of Getty Images’s image/brand.

Digital Ads

For the end-of-quarter sale, I was tasked with conceptualizing a theme based on the latest eye-catching trends. This project began with research backed findings that showed pastels were on trend and chosen as the color of the year by Pantone. With that in mind, I presented the idea to stakeholders, consisting of the demand generation team, product designers, and the vice president of digital, to allow for any questions to be answered related to this design decision. Once approved, I was tasked with curating the imagery and created iterations for different channels to then be translated to multiple languages for a global release.

Paid Digital Ads + Email Campaign

During this week long sale, we also put together a suite of ads to be used for organic, paid, and partnerships. Along with the ads, there was also three trigger emails that would be sent to users to create a sense of urgency.

Marketing Initiatives

As Getty images continues moving the world with imagery, there are also new initiatives to bolster not only product offerings but to differentiate them from their competitors. The launch of the Black History Culture Collection and Historically Black Colleges and Universities Collection required cultural sensitivity and knowledge of how the Black community should be represented. Another go-to-market initiative includes the AI Generative Product. This product launch challenged the Creative team to create landing pages, sizzle reels, in-person event creatives, and presentation decks. Working cross-functionally for both these launches,

Reports

At Getty Images, reports play a pivotal role in disseminating information related to the company. My involvement extends to the annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion report, which underscores the company's dedication to fostering an inclusive environment for all stakeholders. This comprehensive report not only boosts morale internally but also serves as a crucial tool for presenting our ongoing commitment to inclusivity to the board of directors. Moreover, beyond ensuring diversity in our workforce, we also prioritize data-backed research to inform the products we promote through VisualGPS. Our creative team curates topics showcasing imagery tailored to user preferences or highlighting niche content based on the data provided through VisualGPS Insights. The creative team is often tasked with creating reports that are not only digestible but also visually intriguing.
